Reema Juffali began the final day of action at Paul Ricard and qualified 13th following a challenging session, but she soon began a charge forward in the 60-minute race.

She made short work of her rivals at the rolling start and gained two places to move into 11th.

She then focused on defending against those behind her, putting as much distance between herself and her opponents.

An intense battle between Krystian Korzeniowski and Reema followed as they ran side-by-side going into lap eight of 29 before the focus switched to the mandatory pitstop.

Opting for an early pitstop, Reema switched with team-mate Adam Christodoulou on lap 11.

Coming out in 15th, Adam then began a superb charge up the order.

The timing of the pitstop proved to be perfect when the leading seven made their later stops, with the team’s undercut pushing Adam up to 10th, running 6th in the Pro-Am class.

After a battle with Omar Jackson, Adam took ninth and swiftly followed it with a move into eighth, moving into fifth in the Pro-Am class.

The battle for the podium places intensified in the final laps with Adam continuing to rise into fifth overall and second in Pro-Am.

A late push and a battle between two drivers ahead, as well as an error from Benjamin Hites, helped Adam complete the job by moving into the class lead.

The resulting overall podium capped off a strong first weekend for the new Theeba Motorsport organisation.

Reema Juffali, Founder & Driver, Theeba Motorsport

"It's a first overall podium for the team and first in class, so I couldn't be happier. I'm really proud of what we have achieved as a team in such a short space of time. It's very different being purely a driver compared to a driver who manages her own team, but I think it makes it more exciting! Adam did an amazing job today, keeping it clean and getting us across the line despite the handicap. Now it’s about getting our head down and building on what we have achieved this weekend. I’m already ready for the next race!”

Adam Christodoulou, Driver, Theeba Motorsport

"As far as races go, they don’t get much better than that! We had a third overall and a win in class [Pro-Am] so a brilliant weekend overall. Reema drove really well, the team were great and the car felt perfect all weekend. To fight for the win was the cherry on top."
